Responsibilities + Obtains patient records and prescriptions + Assures patient pre-admission paper work is complete + Coordinates "PRN" (pro re nata, when necessary) staffing and employee schedules, as needed + Supports the front office team, as back-up for phone, front desk coverage, verifying insurance and scheduling + Monitors patient equipment requests including coordination with vendors, therapists, and patients to assure completion + Maintains patient care database by entering new information & updating + Monitors cancellations, makes follow up calls and sends letters + Promotes and hosts support groups and special events (Develops fliers, promotes on web page and social media, decides topics and content, coordinates speakers) + Maintains web site (bio’s, news stories, patient stories, newsletters and announcements) + Reconciles credit card batch sheets daily + Orders supplies for clinic + Collects weekly and monthly statistical information and assists director in preparing corporate reports + Maintains and develops referral source relationships and corresponds with physicians/referral sources + Maintains study information and actively recruits participants + Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed + Other duties as assigned Qualifications + High School Diploma or General Education Diploma + A minimum of two years administrative office experience, preferable in a medical setting + Basic knowledge of medical terminology and insurance verification process + Advanced computer software (Microsoft office) and data entry skills + Excellent organizational, customer service, and oral/written communication skills About our Line of Business Rehab Without Walls is a revolutionary neuro rehabilitation program that moves individuals outside the walls of institutional settings and into their natural home and community environment through a continuum of care.
