Responsibilities:
Overseeing all day-to-day operations of the psychiatric unitSupervision experienceLeading program development with short-term and long-term goalsEnsuring compliance with hospital, state, federal and licensing agency regulatory standardsEstablishing relationships with community leaders and service providers to promote/foster the positive reputation of the program Requirements/Qualifications Licensed or (license eligible) Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of TexasExperience working with senior adults in an outpatient setting Hospital/Program DescriptionSupporting the needs of senior adults, The Heritage Program at Kimble Hospital provides intensive outpatient mental health treatment (IOP) Monday through Thursday in the least restrictive environment. Patients may return to their homes each afternoon after enjoying a free nutritious lunch. Group, individual and family therapy (with enrolled patient) are provided as well as prescribing and monitoring medications. Transportation to and from the program is provided if needed. Treatment is supervised by a psychiatrist and provided by a team that includes master’s level clinicians and mental health providers.
