Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) has an opportunity for a Outpatient Physical Therapist at Jacobi Medical Center/North Central Bronx Hospital. The Hospitals are part of the NYC Health + Hospitals System (NYCHHC). Jacobi is a 457-bed, Level I Trauma Center and NCB has 213 licensed beds. The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with Albert Einstein Medical College to maintain its high healthcare delivery standards.

ResponsibilitiesMajor Trauma, Burn and Stroke Center in the Bronx looking for a full time Outpatient Physical Therapist to join our team.
Perform physical therapy clinical tasks including initial evaluation, treatment, re-evaluation and discharge summaries.24 bed acute Inpatient Rehab Unit, Bedside therapy and outpatient therapy services.Keep patient records and participate in Department statistical surveys, performance improvement projects, in-services and patient rounds.Adhere to all standards and/or regulations of the Joint Commission, NYDOH and other appropriate regulatory bodies.Keep current with and follow all regulations relating but not limited to, HIPAA, Medicare, NYS Medicaid, medical recordkeeping and cliniolegal issues. Qualifications NYS licensed Physical TherapistExperience preferred but not requiredHospital or ortho/sports experience an advantage
