Responsibilities Georgetown Outpatient Therapist - Adult Population - Per Diem Dover Behavioral Health System has an exciting position within our Outpatient Social Services Department. We invite applications for the position of a Outpatient Therapist to join the Universal Health Services, Inc. family. The successful candidate will provide clinical services to our outpatient adult patients for Dover Behavioral Health System located in Georgetown, DE. Location: 406 S Bedford St, Georgetown, DE 19947 What do our outpatient Therapist do? Conduct risk assessments and psychosocial assessments to identify patient needs and develop treatment plans. Provide individual, group, and family therapies using various treatment modalities to help patients achieve optimal emotional health. Collaborate with treatment teams and serve as patients' primary contact and advocate, developing and coordinating individualized discharge plans. Identify and coordinate community resources, such as group homes or mental health practitioners, to support patients' aftercare needs. Qualifications Masters Degree in Social Work or related field is required A minimum of one year experience with direct experience in family and or group therapies, crisis intervention, treatment and clinical assessments Experience working in an outpatient setting preferred LMSW, LCSW, or other licensures preferred About Universal Health Services One of the nation’s largest and most respected hospital companies, Universal Health Services, Inc.
