JOB DESCRIPTION:
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Public Administration, or related field. Knowledge of community resources (i.e. medical & behavioral health, human services), co-occurring disorders with emphasis on substance use/abuse is a plus.
Highly motivated, self-directed, good time management and excellent communication skills a must.
Ability to work as a team demonstrating effective communication. Demonstrated ability to manage departmental marketing initiatives, as well as proven ability to develop and implement outreach plans and tactics that drive provider/partner participation.
Adept at handling multiple and varied functions with success. Proven ability to manage resources responsibly and effectively. Valid Florida driver’s license, a vehicle in good working condition and a clean driving record.
Preferred Qualifications:
Two years’ experience in communications, marketing, sales or business positions or not-for-profit and/or health care field. Knowledge of psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment and practices and developmental services programs preferred a plus.
Special Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Apple and Microsoft applications. Familiar with health care providers, medical and behavioral, in the following counties: Pinellas, Pasco, Hillsborough, Highlands, Hardee, Polk or Charlotte, Lee, Collier, Hendry and Glades (territory to be determined by home base).
Essential Functions/Job Duties:
Works in partnership with Centerstone business development resources and SBIRT peers to increase community awareness and support the SBIRT Federal Grant.
Provides outreach and training to medical practice providers in assimilating SBIRT into their practice model, maintains regular contacts and serves as SBIRT resource.
Provides education to behavioral health providers on the SBIRT Federal Grant and collects resource materials to share with potential referral sources (for substance abuse/addictions services). Builds relationships and referral sources within the project service area.
Represents Centerstone brand in public and professional forums, as needed.
Work Environment/Physical Demands:
Ability to have clear, verbal communications; sit/drive for prolonged periods of time; perform computer/word processing operations; handle moderate stress, perform multiple tasks and lift up to 25 pounds. Most sales/marketing takes place at medical practices (e.g., primary care, pain management).
Position Type, Expected Hours of Work and Travel:
This is a full time position, and the expected work hours are 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday – 8:30-5:00.
