Overview The Outreach Consultant II is a Senior Outreach position for the PSE&G programs. The Outreach Consultant will work in a team environment with New Jersey local electrical, mechanical, labor and other unions, with our client, trade allies, and PSE&G utility customers to deliver the commercial energy efficiency programs to eligible customers. The Outreach Consultant will serve as the main Point of Contact between the unions, the public, local program management, internal project teams and the client. The Outreach Consultant is responsible for tracking Union participation against program targets, weekly/monthly/annual reporting of participation, develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality and client satisfaction goals/objectives. Responsibilities Promote PSE&G’s Business Energy Saver Program through community outreach and engagement. Research and identify local NJ unions that are qualified to participate within PSE&G’s Business Energy Saver Program. Conduct visits to various unions to connect with members and key stakeholders. Develop and maintain strong relationships with the IBEW (International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers), mechanical unions, and affiliated entities. Collaborate with existing Trade Ally Network and foster partnerships between Trade Allies and union affiliates. Manage union affiliated Trade Ally network including project support and pipeline development. Prepare and deliver presentations to educate decision-makers about the benefits of PSE&G’s Business Energy Saver Program. Ability to track and report on engagement efforts within Client Relationship Management (CRM) Ensure program targets regarding union participation are achieved. Provide feedback and manage continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Prior experience working with unions or within union-focused organizations; high preference to electrical and mechanical unions. Strong understanding of the unique challenges and needs of the union community. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively present information to diverse audiences, including union members, representatives, and community partners. Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to engage and collaborate with various decision-makers. Dedicated approach to advocacy and support. Ability to work a flexible schedule including occasional evenings or weekends as needed to attend meetings/events and/or program activities. Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly, effectively, and collaboratively with all levels of staff, participants, and community members, with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. Comfort and ease in facilitating groups of community stakeholders. Outstanding people/interpersonal, collaboration, and advocacy skills. Compensation: In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors. Other Compensation: Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company’s annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.
