Outreach & Enrollment Specialist (Bilingual)

Position Purpose:
As an Outreach & Enrollment Specialist at Mercy Care Atlanta, you will be the first point of contact for patients navigating their financial options. Your role is vital in ensuring every patient has access to the care they need by identifying insurance options, assisting with enrollment, and verifying financial and insurance information.

What You Will Do:

Assess patient financial situations and identify insurance options.

Provide enrollment assistance and Medicaid screening.

Verify insurance benefits, eligibility, and initiate service authorizations.

Collaborate with staff to calculate deductibles, co-payments, and cost estimates.

Collect payments and ensure proper documentation in the EPIC system.

Deliver excellent customer service to patients of all ages, focusing on adult and geriatric populations.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred).

CPAR certification and Georgia Navigator license (or ability to obtain within 30 days).

Two years of financial counseling experience in healthcare.

Basic knowledge of third-party payer requirements and government programs.

Strong computer, communication, and interpersonal skills; EPIC experience preferred.
