Adecco is assisting a nonprofit organization in the search for a dedicated **Outreach Specialist** to support veterans experiencing homelessness or those at risk. In this role, you will connect veterans to housing and vital support services, helping them regain stability and independence. 📍 Location: MD & VA 💰 Pay Rate: The wage for this position is between $20 and $27.23/HR. Hourly wage may depend upon experience, education, geographic location, and other factors 📅 Schedule: Full-Time Mon-Fri **Key Responsibilities:** ✅ Conduct outreach by visiting shelters, treatment programs, transitional housing, and other community locations where homeless veterans may be. ✅ Maintain a database of client information and referrals to track program engagement. ✅ Schedule screenings and arrange transportation for veterans seeking support. ✅ Assist in transporting clients to program events and essential appointments. ✅ Collaborate with external service providers to ensure necessary paperwork is completed in a timely manner. ✅ Produce weekly reports on veterans engaged through outreach efforts. ✅ Support communication efforts for upcoming projects and special events. ✅ Attend weekly outreach meetings with site outreach staff. ✅ Perform other duties as assigned to support the mission of veteran assistance. **Qualifications:** ✔️ 1+ year of experience in social services (or at least 3 months of employment with U.S.VETS). ✔️ Strong communication and organizational skills. ✔️ Ability to work independently and within a team. ✔️ Proficiency in Microsoft Office. ✔️ Valid driver’s license (must meet insurance requirements and complete training). **Preferred Qualifications:** ➕ Bachelor’s degree in Social Services or related field. ➕ Experience working with homeless individuals and/or veterans. **Why Join Us?** 🌟 Make a direct impact by helping veterans in need. 🌟 Work with a mission-driven team in a collaborative environment. 📩 **Interested?
