Outrider This is a Seasonal Position for our 2025 Race Season May through September Do you have a passion for horses and a keen eye for safety? We’re looking for a dedicated Outrider to ensure smooth operations on the racetrack. As the Outrider, you’ll be responsible for managing both horses and drivers, ensuring the safety of all participants while maintaining a high level of control and focus during races. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: + Responsible for the safety of drivers and horses on the racetrack. + Responsible for communicating between drivers and judges. + Prepared in case of an accident during the course of, before, or after a race. + All other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Experience riding horses along with harness racing knowledge. SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS: Must have experience as an outrider. Must be able to ride a horse for approximately 4 hours and engage loose horses, fallen horses during the course of any race.
