GCG Automation & Factory Solutions (AFS) is seeking a motivated outside sales professional to join our Advanced Controls & Distribution (ACD) outside sales team to cover the southern West Virginia market.
As an ACD Account Manager, you will serve as a trusted consultant to key defined accounts within the Industrial Automation space in the southern West Virginia area. Your role involves educating current and potential customers on the product lines and automation solutions offered by GCG AFS and Advanced Controls & Distribution.
ACD provides comprehensive training to set you on the path to success quickly.
This role requires frequent travel to customer facilities in the Southern West Virginia area. When not engaged in travel to facilitate customer-facing activity or to attend division sales meetings, this position offer the opportunity to work from a home office.
What you'll do
Aggressively grow ACD's business within a defined sales territory, targeting Industrial Users, OEMs, System Integrators, and Panelbuilders in southern West VirginiaExpand business at existing customers while acquiring new strategic accountsIdentify customer needs, match them to products or services, and propose effective solutionsBuild trusted, long-lasting relationships with customersCollaborate with technical resources to close opportunitiesWhat you'll bring
A four-year university or college degree, or equivalent experience in industrial salesAn outgoing personality with the ability to easily connect with new contactsExceptional written and verbal communication skillsWillingness to continually embrace personal and professional developmentA results-driven approach to sales and account managementWhat we offer
