As a First Supply Outside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for promoting the company’s products, business development and sales growth with new and existing clients. The main focus is to help First Supply’s customers by providing best in class customer service while achieving sales and profit goals established by the company.
Responsibilities Make regular sales calls to determine client needsAssist clients with special requests and problems (supply information, resolve complains)Prepare and present special quotationsEstablish new accountsIdentify and develop new sales opportunities Gather competitive informationIdentify trends in customer satisfaction or dissatisfactionAttend sales and product review meetingsKeep records as requiredStay abreast of product developments, changes in local codes and consumer preferencesParticipate in trade association functions, local business community affairs, etcTraining duties as neededOther duties/responsibilities as assigned by the General Manager Qualifications 1-3 years of related experience in trade fieldKnowledge of plumbing and heating products preferredComputer knowledge and skills with the ability to learn First Supply LLC’s business systemEffective social and negotiation skillsAbility to travel extensively within a local territoryValid driver's license and a driving record which meets underwriting standardsFirst Supply, family-owned and operated for over 125 years, offers its employees a great benefits package including; medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, PTO, company paid holidays, on demand pay, education assistance, adoption assistance, and more!
