The Dealer Sales Representative (DSR) is an outside sales role responsible for driving sales growth with Home Improvement Warehouse (HIW) partners. This role is pivotal in building and nurturing business relationships to promote specialty products distributed by Weyerhaeuser. As the main point of contact for key decision makers—such as dealer leadership, sales teams, Pro Desk associates, and PARS—the DSR ensures seamless communication and sales execution. This position reports to the North Carolina Sales Manager and serves a portion of the Charlotte market.

Develop and own relationships with HIW partners to facilitate consistent sales growth.Conduct value-driven sales calls, ensuring they deliver tangible benefits to the customer.Identify and pursue profitable new business opportunities.Lead efforts to align sales and operational resources to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty to increase the desire to work with WeyerhaeuserWorks in tandem with our suppliers’ sales teams and utilize their marketing and sales budgets to effectively gain market share.Drive profitable growth within assigned accounts and territories.Collaborate with customers to identify needs and create solutions that improve profitability, efficiency, and safety.Work closely with supplier sales teams and leverage their marketing and sales budgets to expand market share.Provide strategic direction and market intelligence to inside sales representatives and commodity sellers.Participate in initiatives that improve safety, profitability, and customer satisfaction.Address complaints and resolve service issues promptly and efficiently.We have over 48,000 SKUs from over 300 suppliers of structural framing materials and specialty building products for residential, multi-family and light commercial markets. Minimum 3 - 5 years of sales experience.Ability to develop effective relationships by consistently servicing and interacting with key decision makers.Proven success managing large, complex accounts, including: building and maintaining executive relationships, developing programs and promotions, negotiating solutions to improve profitability and customer satisfaction.Demonstrated success in bringing in business, nurturing opportunities, and closing sales.Possesses a minimum level of expertise in all structural frame products (completed Introductory Structural Frame training) including knowledge of the manufacturing process, product features and applications.Understands and can articulate the financial drivers of retail, wholesale and construction industryAble to travel overnight as necessary within assigned territories.Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree or higher5 years sales experience in the building and construction products (or related) industryPrevious experience working with Home Improvement Warehouse’s is highly preferredCompensation: This role is eligible for our annual merit-increase program, and we are targeting a salary range of $66,000 - $100,000 based on your level of skills, qualifications and experience. You will also be eligible for our Sales Incentive Program, which offers a quarterly cash bonus.
