Job Description Summary
Position Objective:
The Outside Sales Representative develops and maximizes the Temporary Containment Wall (TCW) market share in all sectors within their assigned territory or region. This role will be responsible for generating profitable business in the areas of healthcare construction/isolation, infection control and other related fields. This includes developing the assigned territory, implementing sales plans to grow business and maintain current customer base, and by helping to build the national Sunbelt branding identity.
Position Responsibilities:
Embrace and promote Sunbelt’s safety cultureDevelop and execute territory sales plans to expand existing customer base and to develop new customers within assigned territory and markets segment to “grow the business”Solicit business by calling on regular and prospective customers via phone or traveling throughout the assigned territory for planned visits or cold callsProvide technical sales and application solutions for customersPrepare detailed proposals to solicit orders, close deals and win businessCoordinate project specs with internal operational team members to ensure that the objective of the job is accomplished in accordance with the customer timeline and requirementsMonitor market data such as competitor products, sales and marketing activities within assigned territoryMaintain CRM database daily through consistent entering of sales calls and job site detailsIn concert with management, develop and achieve applicable Annual Territory Sales Plan which sets KPI’s, revenue & market growth targetsLearn all technical aspects of equipment, function and appropriate applicationsProvides technical training to customers relating to use, operation and maintenance of equipmentAssist with all aspects of the business to ensure customer success as needed, including product demo, delivery and routine diagnosticsPrimary point of contact for customers during the planning, troubleshooting and completion throughout the lifespan of TCW projectsDevelop and manage relationships with local, regional and national sellers in general tool and specialty divisionsRequirements:
Education & Experience:
Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent work experience plus 2+ years of direct experience in construction-related salesRequires a proven track record in consultative sellingRequires a strong construction background with the ability to learn engineering conceptsWorking knowledge of Infection control risk assessment (ICRA) standards a plusSelf-starter, possess excellent communication skills, highly motivated, and a results-driven sales professionalAbility to problem solve and think outside the box to determine solutionsHighly organized, detail oriented and able to handle multiple opportunities and clients concurrentlyAbility to work effectively and meet sales objectives without detailed day-to-day directionStrong project management, new business development and customer retention skills a mustPotential for up to 50% travel dependent on territory assignedBase Pay Range: $40,000.00 - 62,965.00Total compensation package includes base pay plus robust commission plan.
