As a First Waterworks Outside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for prospecting for new contractor customers while maintaining business relationships with existing customers.
Responsibilities Identify, develop and maintain relationships with an assigned and new customer base, including key accounts, insuring their satisfaction with our products and a Best-In-Class Customer ExperiencePrepare and submit oral and written material quotationsIdentify customer product needs and coordinate execution of orders with other departmentsParticipate in trade associations, customer functions and local business community affairs related to First Waterworks businessMonitor sales trends and product performance resultsContinually enhance sales skills and product knowledge to promote a professional image in the fieldOther duties/responsibilities as assigned by the Regional Sales Manager /General Manager Qualifications 2-5 years of related experience in trade fieldBS/BA in a related discipline is preferredKnowledge of waterworks products and customersAbility to be bonded as defined by First Supply Group’s fidelity bond insurance carrierSatisfactory score on the Wonderlic Personnel Test and/or Caliper AssessmentValid driver’s license and a driving record which meets underwriting standardsMathematical aptitude necessary for price quotations and margin productionTravel required within local territoryComputer knowledge and skills with the ability to learn First Supply LLC’s business systemEffective social and negotiation skillsFirst Supply, family-owned and operated for over 125 years, offers its employees a great benefits package including; medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, PTO, company paid holidays, on demand pay, education assistance, adoption assistance, and more!
