Job Description:
We are seeking candidates with a unique blend of interpersonal and analytical skills. OCIO Analysts efficiently leverage both qualitative and quantitative resources to understand complex financial situations and present solutions. The analyst will play a very important role within the team, working closely with senior team members and cross functional teams to help facilitate business development and relationship management activities for the Group.
Key Responsibilities:
Play a supporting role with clients: Understand client's investment plan, goals and objectives and work with Senior Portfolio Manager to develop investment plans and custom materials to support ongoing client dialogue Utilize tools to create investment reviews/plans on holistic asset allocation and portfolio construction and tactical asset allocation shifts Work with senior team members to help execute investment solutions in client accounts in accordance with client plans. Create investment reviews for clients to validate the clients' current investment objectives and prepare recommendations Contribute to new business development and regional expansion by: Supporting new business opportunities with Senior Portfolio Managers and other Integrated Team Members Partnering with cross functional teams to support key facets of OCIO business development Building strong relationships across internal product, client service and marketing areas Performing Sales management, including developing RFPs, pitches, road shows, campaigns, proposals Understand J.P. Morgan’s investment platform, solutions, investment philosophy Interact effectively with the various internal product partners, banking teams, risk and compliance, marketing, etc. Develops a deep understanding of the Institutional client market: sizing, trends, competition, service models, both in the US and internationallyRequired Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities:
Bachelor’s degree required Series 7, 63 & 65 or 7 & 66 required for position Coachable professional with good "business sense" and an energetic/dynamic personality Ability to work both independently and as a team player Excellent communication skills, both written and oral Strong analytical and quantitative skills Ability to multi-task and manage priorities effectively Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing business and technology environment Exceptional problem-solving skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and Internet/Intranet Ability to learn proprietary software and databasesPreferred Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities:
