As Outsourcing Artist, you will…

Manage communications and provide feedback to artists, and help maintain a strong creative relationship between external and internal art teamsGenerate detailed documentation, visual reference, and examples of art asset production, procedures, and engine requirements to support the external vendorsOwn the quality control over all incoming art assets, providing detailed feedback and approvals to the vendor in order to deliver quality assets to the development teamPersonally create high quality models, materials, environments when neededImplement approved assets into the game engine, along with making any needed fixes to keep assets consistent and game readyCoordinate with the outsource manager to schedule and track incoming assets Qualifications

What Makes You S.P.E.C.I.A.L.

 

You have experience in game art asset creation in a variety of software packages including Zbrush, 3D Studio Max, Photoshop and Substance PainterYou have strong character, weapon, and environment modeling experience and skillsYou have clear and concise communications, leadership, and people skillsYou possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts, Graphic Arts, or 3D DesignYou have a passion for playing Bethesda Game Studios games

 

Salary Range

Outsourcing Artist - The typical base pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $55,000 - $140,000 per year.

 

ZeniMax has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. The range above reflects the potential base pay across the U.S. for this role; the applicable base pay range will depend on what ultimately is determined to be the candidate’s primary work location. Individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time.

 

At ZeniMax certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, such as merit increases and discretionary bonuses. These awards are allocated based on individual performance and are not guaranteed.
