Job Description:

Responsibilities:Ensures that production standards are met by efficiently running oven linesResponsible for monitoring process through LD display gauges and checking against checklist and established procedures. Listen for alarms and lasers to detect problemsDocuments each reading on process control sheets and reports irregularities to supervisorFollow safety procedures and checklist for start-up, emergency stop, and restart of oven lines after power failuresMaintains specifications by:Obtaining and delivering samples for testing to the lab every hour per set procedureConducting appearance, break and taste test every hour and discuss evaluation with supervisorInitiating process changes based on lab feedbackChecks and fill salt compartmentCleanse machinery and areas of operationEnsures good manufacturing procedures by following housekeeping standardsCleans ovens to include wash down of cooker and transfer area at scheduled machine shutdowns by following standard procedures and safety procedures. Complete sanitation duties during machine shutdownsEnsures efficient and quality production and positive employee relations by complying with all employment policies, rules, regulations, safety procedures, good manufacturing procedures, product protection standards and actively participating in all training requirements

This is a 3rd shift position, 11:pm to 7:00 amMandatory overtime is part of this roleHourly rate of pay of $21.25

About you

High School, technical school education or equivalentAbility to be organized, multitask, and keep up with multiple fast-paced machinesMechanical ability to run equipment and use small hand toolsBasic math and measuring abilityMental alertness to identify and react to machine process, quality issues and safety issues such as lock out/tag outAbility to comprehend written and oral communication and apply commonsense understanding to carry out and follow instructions and standard proceduresAbility to read production orders and machine specifications
