This Rolls-Royce Corporation position sits at the LiftWorks Depot in Indianapolis, IN manufacturing facility. The role supports the overhaul of customer owned Rolls-Royce LiftSystem Modules to maximize operational reliability and reduce Rolls-Royce operational costs. A core responsibility is recommending improvements depot practices to maximize first time correct assembly and testing of modules.

Key Accountabilities:
Initiates and drafts recommendations for Engineering Changes to revise the Heavy Maintenance Manual.Monitors modification program plans to ensure Engineering needs are met.Provides technical support to Assembly, Sentencers and Test as needed. Maintains MRO test failure database and proposes potential mitigations to test issues.Reports quarterly on depot component replacement rates to sustainment teamMonitors depot engineering programs, ensure data is gathered as requested. Makes recommendations to optimize maintenance activities in support of cost reduction initiatives.Basic Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in engineering is requiredA minimum of 2-5 years of previous experience working with Service Engineering on Rolls-Royce enginesMust have a general understanding of engine performance characteristicsMust be a US citizen to be considered for this rolePreferred Requirements:
Ability to exercise engineering judgment to identify reliability issues/trends, root cause and develop cost solutions.Ability to develop strong relationships with overhaul facility (LiftWorks) personnel to influence depot operations and practices.Knowledge of process improvement using statistical-related problem-solving experience is preferred.Strong interpersonal and communication skillsStrong system and module level knowledge of the LiftSystem and its interfaces.Pioneer the next generation of innovation. This position provides Engineering support to LiftSystem Operations and as such is co-located with that team and works to a similar 9/80 schedule with every other Friday off.
