**Overhead Crane Technician**
**Job Description**
As an Overhead Crane Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and inspecting overhead cranes and hoists. You will perform scheduled preventive maintenance activities, support customers by effectively interfacing with them and the office, and evaluate and make recommendations regarding required repairs. You will also maintain rapport with customers by examining complaints, identifying solutions, suggesting improved methods, and recommending system improvements. Additionally, you will service overhead crane systems by performing quality installations, OSHA/ANSI equivalent inspections, documenting and completing warranty work, troubleshooting breakdowns, performing preventive maintenance, and responding to repair calls. Documenting service and installation actions by completing forms, reports, and inspection checklists is also a key part of the role. Maintaining a professional presentation, timeliness, appearance, and organization in all areas is essential.
**Responsibilities**
+ Troubleshoot, repair, and inspect overhead cranes and hoists.
+ Perform scheduled preventive maintenance activities on equipment.
+ Support customers by effectively interfacing with them and the office.
+ Evaluate and make recommendations regarding required repairs for customers.
+ Maintain rapport with customers by examining complaints, identifying solutions, suggesting improved methods and techniques, and recommending system improvements.
+ Service overhead crane systems by performing quality installations, OSHA/ANSI equivalent inspections, documenting and completing warranty work, troubleshooting breakdowns, performing preventive maintenance, and responding to repair calls.
+ Document service and installation actions by completing forms, reports, and inspection checklists.
+ Build and maintain customer confidence by maintaining good response time, informing customers of problems, and completing jobs in a timely manner.
+ Maintain professional presentation, timeliness, appearance, and organization in all areas.
**Essential Skills**
+ Ability to troubleshoot 3 phase electrical systems.
+ Electro-mechanical troubleshooting skills.
+ Mechanical knowledge to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair heavy equipment.
+ Ability to work at heights above 25 feet.
+ Clean driving record.
+ Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, heavy equipment, troubleshooting, and welding.

+ Good driving record.
+ Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
+ Ability to work independently.
+ Ability to troubleshoot electrical circuits.
+ Perform inspections according to OSHA/ANSI criteria.

**Work Environment**
You will travel within AZ 99% of the time. Regular hours are from 7 am to 5 pm, but flexibility is required as there will be some extended hours and weekends. You will also be on call. The working environment varies depending on the type of manufacturing company, as you will be working on overhead cranes.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Permanent position based out of Phoenix, Arizona.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $95000.00/yr.
