Wood Transmission & Distribution Ltd (UK) are currently recruiting for an existing OHL Project Manager to join our ever-growing business. You will ideally be from a transmission and distribution, construction or rail background with experience in tendering and delivering large 132/275/400kV OHL projects as you will be initially supporting our client NGED with projects in the Midlands. You will play a vital role in a diverse portfolio of projects at various stages of the project life cycle. You will have substantial experience of development and delivery of million-pound projects to deliver safely, on-time and within budget. Experience of working on NGED or other similar transmission and distribution network operators is required. This opportunity is a site-based position, we have works issued under various OHL frameworks which mean the position is UK wide. We envisage you will be working in the West and East Midlands to begin with; however thereafter you will need to be flexible in your work location as you will be away from home for periods of time and will travel and work across England and Wales. You will be expected to visit site walks for tenders when required, and work from home and your nearest Wood office to suit business needs.

You will possess a strong history of leading project teams on OHL projects through all phases of design, construction, commission and close out. Essential skills include programme / project management, planning and expertise in managing the design requirements and commercial budgets for OHL projects. Familiarity with client/ distribution network operator (DNO) technical standards and policies is a must.
