Overnight Butler - Falling Rock

Join our team of world-class hospitality professionals within the elite 42-room boutique hotel, Falling Rock.  As an Overnight Butler you will get the pleasure of overseeing all personal needs of selecting assigned guests. You will have opportunities to provide formal butler services and assist the guest with their folio of charges throughout their stay.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Contact assigned guests and assist with personalized services (pre-booking, spa, dining, and activity reservations). Arrange, record, deliver, and charge all special requests for arriving guests. Greet guests at entrance, escort guests to room, and present keys, then arrange for valet and bell service. Offer personalized services including packing/unpacking and organization of guests belongings, clothing pressing, shoe shining, and description of room amenities. Monitor guest activity while at the resort, including being on call for any special requests or last minute needs (including drawing of baths). Gain a comprehensive understanding of all menus, outlets, and amenities of the resort. Communicate movement of guests to all resort outlets, ensuring proper service and recognition. Inspects all guest rooms prior to guest arrival ensuring excellence. Inspect and present all food and beverage items ordered by the guest. Research and clarify any misunderstanding with regards to guest folio. Prepare bill and proper back up for presentation to the guest upon departure. Assist guests with luggage transport and farewell. Ability to cooperate and operate seamlessly with all departments of the resort. Ability to interact with guests who have high expectations. Ability to maintain confidentiality and privacy. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

The candidate must possess strong interpersonal relationship skills. They must also possess strong reading and writing skills. High school diploma is necessary. The use of the computer, including Microsoft Office products, PMS system, spa booking system, and CRM system will be necessary. Prior knowledge of the systems in use is not necessary, but definitely a plus. A minimum of two years’ experience in related hospitality fields is necessary and proper formalized training is highly regarded. They must be willing to work varied hours, including nights, weekends, holidays, and split shifts (according to the needs of the guests). Must be able to speak English.
