Overnight CDL A Shuttle Truck Driver - Verona, VA

This position is responsible for driving tractor trailer combination to shuttle products, livestock, or materials in liquid, loose, or packaged form. This position must be able to run delivery routes when needed.\n \nEssential Duties:  \n\nDriving truck to predetermined destination for delivery of trailer and product\nCommunicating with dispatch, supervisors and other drivers to ensure safe and on time arrivals at destinations\nLoading and unloading trucks as required for returns, pick-ups and deliveries\nPerforming daily routine vehicle condition report on truck and/or trailer\nComplying with company policies and D.O.T. regulations\nPerforming other duties as assigned to meet business needs\n\n  Qualifications:  \n\nMust be at least 21 years of age\nMust have Commercial Driver's License (CDL) for tractor trailer operation\nMust have a good driving record for past 39 months\nThree months or more tractor trailer experience\nMust be available to work with the demands of the department which are subject to overnight shifts, weekends, layovers and holidays\nHigh School Diploma or GED preferred\nMust be able to read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public and respond to official inquiries  \n\nPhysical Demands:  \n\nRegularly standing and walking\nReaching with hands and arms to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls\nSitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling\nRegularly lifting and/or moving up to 100 pounds\nFrequently lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds\nOccasionally lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds   Visual Requirements:  \nClose, distance, color and peripheral vision\nDepth perception\nThe ability to adjust focus  \n\n \n Corporate Summary: \n
