The Concierge is an integral part of the Guest Services Team whose main objective is to ensure our guests are well looked after from the start. As the first and last impression of the Hotel, this high-profile department carries a special responsibility. Our Concierge team is dedicated to accommodating guest requests from the ordinary to the extraordinary. With local knowledge and insights, the Concierge team does wonders to enhance guests' experiences, making their stay that much more enjoyable.
What you will do:
Display, at all times, a friendly, courteous and professional manner in all dealings with guests, patrons and other employees.
Coordinate pre-arrival with an emphasis on fulfilling requests, following up on special requests, handling instructions and adhering to established credit policies and procedures.
Follow up with guest’s during their stay to ascertain satisfaction and respond accordingly.
The ability to report glitches.
Make meaningful and insightful recommendations that will enhance the guest experience and is customized to their needs and preferences.
The ability to handle multiple phone lines.
The ability to work closely with local vendors to coordinate the efficient handling of guest requests.
The ability to handle guest problems or complaints.
Utilize the computer system in running daily reports.
Keep all support departments informed of necessary information or requests.
Recite hours of operation of all resort facilities and special service codes.
What you bring:
· One to two years’ previous experience in Front Office; previous employment experience within a luxury Hotels is considered an asset
· Ability to operate computer equipment
· Strong communication skills

Schedule & Hours:
• Successful candidates will be hired as a casual, part time employee. Successful candidates are expected to work overnight, weekends and holidays.
