We are currently offering a $3,000 SIGN ON BONUS to brand new full time employees working over 37.5 hours per week or a $1,500 SIGN ON BONUS for part time employees working 20 or more hours per week.

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health New York provides programs and services for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and dual diagnoses. Located at our main campus in Red Hook, NY (12571), this position is responsible for assisting in the overall program shift management. They will provide guidance and assistance when needed for crisis situations and will be responsible for the supervision of the campus NDSPs in the implementation of the night program. The Overnight EOD will assume all EOD responsibilities. They will provide direction and oversight of the overnight shift; ensure all overnight employees are completing call ins as directed; make regular rounds throughout shift to individual residences; complete the census report nightly; and ensure all documentation requirements are completed. The EOD understands when to effectively communicate in a timely manner with internal and external parties; will ensure that Devereux email communications are reviewed and responded to in a timely manner; and will communicate pertinent information to overnight employees. They will review training notes as directed by the management team. The EOD will provide awake supervision throughout the overnight shirt to ensure the safety of the individuals.

 

Location: Main Campus, Red Hook, NY

Salary: $22+ per hour; increases depending on education and experience.

Schedule: Sunday thru Wednesday, 11:00pm - 9:00am

Qualifications

EDUCATION:  Associates Degree required or 60+ credits.  Bachelors Degree preferred.  Will waive Degree if candidate can demonstrate four years of supervisory experience in a similar

 

EXPERIENCE:  Minimum of three years experience in a similar residential facility, one of which shall be in a supervisory capacity.

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:  Free of dependency and abuse of illegal or illicit drugs, alcohol, inhalants, or other chemical or controlled substances.  Significant, prolonged, and frequent amounts of walking, standing, sitting, stooping, bending, and lifting of 50 lbs. or more is required.  Using standard crisis intervention procedures, must be able to single-handedly effect the initial restraint of children and adolescents weighing 70 lbs. Possible exposure to blood borne pathogens.
