Overnight ER Licensed Veterinary Technician, PET Emergency Treatment
Veterinary Medical Care is an essential business and PET Emergency Treatment, Inc. is looking for Veterinary Technicians and Licensed Veterinary Technicians to join our team who share our dedication to protecting our clients, staff, patients, and community.

We are looking for an experienced Overnight Veterinary Technician or Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our 8 doctor, AAHA Accredited Hospital. We have a strong Technician team and we are looking for a positive, energetic addition to the team.

Qualifications: Veterinary Technician in Alaska with a minimum one-year experience (emergency experience preferred, but not required). Credentialed Veterinary Technician highly preferred. The ability to function in a fast-paced environment with compassion, efficiency, and flexibility is key to success in this role. As well as, overnight and weekend availability.

Job duties include, but are not limited to; emergency nursing care to patients through compliance with the attending doctor's orders, triage of patients, calculation and administration of medications, in-house lab work sampling and analysis, catheter placement, monitoring and managing patients' comfort, and updating clients on their pet's progress.

Compensation: $28/hr - $30/hr
