Job DescriptionTo reconcile the business of the day and ensure a smooth efficient operation of the front desk during the 3rd shift.
Responsibilities Process guest check-ins and check-outs according to Omni’s Moments of Service and Standard Operating Procedures. Where applicable, ensure process meets Forbes Service StandardsAccurate preparation of VIP, complimentary, house use rooms, and out of order listsConduct back up procedures for Epitome and drop tape nightlyBalancing of daily postings and revenueEnsure adequate communication the following morning to all necessary departments by communicating through “Wrap-Up” emailsDocumenting errors made by cash handling auditorsPrepare In-house allowance and adjustment spreadsheets each dayPrepare and send out the DAR to appropriate team membersBalancing of daily posting and revenue, and resolution of inaccuraciesEnsuring nightly transmission of credit cards through IPU and EpitomeBe familiar with all hotel rate plans and rate codes, understanding rate strategy when making rate changes for guestsDeliver personalized, memorable guest experiences by utilizing the Power of One Qualifications Ability to clearly and pleasantly communicate both verbally and in writing in EnglishAbility to accurately and efficiently input information into computer systemsAbility to compute accurate mathematical calculationsAbility to think clearly, quickly and make concise decisionsAbility to prioritize, organize and follow upAbility to work well under pressure, dealing with many arrivals and departures within a short period of timeAbility to work a flexible schedule to include nights, weekends and holidaysAbility to stand for an 8 hour shiftPrevious customer service experiencePrevious hotel front desk experience is strongly preferredPrevious cashiering experience is preferred
