Position Highlights:

•     Position: Overnight Pharmacist

•     Location:  Highland Park Hospital

•     Full Time/Part Time:  Full Time, NOC

•     Hours:  Mon-Friday 9pm-8am, e/o week-end and rotating holidays

What you will need:

•     License: Current Illinois Registered Pharmacist

•     Education: BLS or PharmD (preferred) degree from an accredited school of pharmacy. Pharmacy Practice Residency or equivalent experience preferred

•     Certification: N/A

•     Experience: At least one year experience as a registered pharmacist; or previous hospital experience- limited time away from institutional practice

•     Skills: Ability to prioritize orders, perform multiple tasks and work in a team environment 

What you will do:

·         Dispense medication in response to a physician's order

·         Provide clinical pharmacy services including drug information, preparing doses and checking work done by a technician prior to dispensing

·         Prepare, compound and dispense medication consistent with department policy, and rules and regulations promulgated by the Board of Pharmacy, Department of Public Health, and JCAHO
