Overnight Security Monitoring Supervisor

As an Overnight Security Monitoring Supervisor, you’ll lead the team responsible for monitoring Best Buy’s retail and supply chain locations with the goal of preventing burglaries and reducing losses due to damage. This is accomplished through proactive CCTV monitoring and reactive alarm response to Best Buy sites that are secured after hours. You’ll work with other supervisory peer groups, corporate partners, field asset protection leaders and property managers to reduce loss and facility damage. You’ll initiate the appropriate response needed to aid all targeted, vulnerable and at-risk facility locations. This team is responsible for providing overnight coverage for 7 days a week.
This role is on site/ in person, which means you would be required to work at a designated Best Buy location (Corporate Campus, Richfield, MN).
What you’ll do
Hire, train and manage your team, ensuring all HR policies and timelines are adhered toPartner with senior leader to develop and manage team performance metrics and reporting capabilitiesEnsure the appropriate leadership coverage is available based on business needs, including occasional weekend and holiday rotationsOversee the development and maintenance of burglary monitoring systems and processes with relevant partnersProvide consistent, on time communication with senior leader, internal customers, key stakeholders, and partners (incident reports, end-of-day performance reports, etc.).Support the team’s daily operational duties through proactive CCTV monitoring, passive facility alarm monitoring, incident notifications and reporting
Basic qualifications
1 year of supervisory experience in retail, distribution, asset protection, call center, property management or related1 year of experience analyzing data and trends3 years of experience with Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook)1 year business reporting experience using Excel, PowerPoint and other reporting toolsAbility to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, overnights and weekends
Preferred qualifications
Scheduling and time sheet management experiencePrevious multi-unit alarm or CCTV monitoring experienceIncident case management reporting experienceExperience in a corporate role supporting field operations
