CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking an Owner's Project Manager to join our Commercial & Institutional – PM/CM Team at our office in Boston, MA. This role is a hybrid position that will require the professional in this role to visit project sites, Owner’s, and consultant’s offices, and attend evening meetings on occasion.

We provide the necessary tools and skillset to effectively manage construction projects from schools and apartment buildings to municipal buildings and warehouses.
At CHA, the Owner's Project Manager works diligently to complete projects within the scope, budget, and schedule. This key role is responsible for managing the overall client relationship including any technical, financial, or logistical issues that may arise. Our Owner's Project Managers are skilled collaborators who are experts at problem solving and adapting and staying calm under pressure. The professional in this role sells and develops work with specific clients, ultimately leading to a “seller/doer” dual role, by understanding our client’s challenges, building partnerships with them, and providing creative solutions to those challenges.
The Owner's Project Manager coordinates contracts with the client, subcontractors, purchase orders, daily correspondence, and all other project related documents. This individual is responsible for all project financials, manages subcontractor payments, and communicates updates to the client, management, and project team during monthly project review meetings with operations.
Additionally, the Owner's Project Manager develops a specific health and safety plan in coordination with health and safety manager and is responsible for verifying that projects meet required QA/QC compliance as determined by Quality Management Plan.

REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, architecture, science, planning, engineering management or a related degree is required; Master’s Degree preferredA minimum of 5 years of experience required; a minimum of 3 years of project management experience requiredExperience preparing proposals, project plans, extra work authorizations and project closeout documents for projects requiredExperience managing project accounting processes to include project budgeting, forecasts and cash management requiredDemonstrated experience in managing client relationshipsExperience understanding and interpreting client contract requirementsAbility to track and oversee multiple projects requiredAn articulate and persuasive communicator with the ability to adapt communication style to suit various audiencesProficient in Microsoft Office SuiteKnowledge of Deltek Vision preferred.Knowledge of MS Project and/or Primavera P6 preferredAbility to travel as needed required SALARY RANGE:$120,000 - $138,000
Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
