P-3 Certified Teacher (District Classroom)

Acelero Learning is seeking full-time P-3 Certified Teachers for the 2024-25 school year for our Middlesex and Monmouth Counties Centers.

Job Description:

The P-3 (Preschool Through Grade 3) Certified Teacher is responsible for providing a range of instructional, assessment, and positive behavioral support strategies to ensure educational excellence in a Head Start classroom for a maximum of fifteen (15) 3–5-year-old children. 

The position collaborates with an assistant teacher, family members, and other staff to achieve positive outcomes for children of all abilities. 

The role encompasses effective practices as outlined in our Teacher Success Rubric and stated job duties.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education OR a related field with at least six (6) courses in Early Childhood Education 

Teacher Certification required (P-3, CE, CEAS, or Standard).

Experience teaching preschool-aged children preferred.

Bilingual Spanish - English preferred.

Additional Information:

This full-time position includes benefits and offers a salary from September to June according to the District scale. The exact salary will be determined based on your education and experience per District guidelines.

Pre-Hire Requirements:

This position requires Two Valid IDs, Two Reference Letters, Physical Exams and TB Tests, Fingerprint Screening (CHRI), and Background Checks (CARI)

Must have a Valid Driver’s License and a reliable transportation

Please note: Upon completion of pre-hire documents, all new hires must attend the four days (Tuesday - Friday) of mandatory New Employee Orientation Training at South Amboy Center, 310 Augusta Street, South Amboy, NJ 08879.
