We’re just built to be better. We are a great company. We are seeking a **P&A Sr Program Manager (EIR Geologist / Hydrogeologist 4)** to join our West Region team! Come join us! **Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:** + Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships with clients, regulatory agencies, and teaming partners in the oil and gas industry for P&A operations to drive growth and expansion of the business line in the U.S. + Manage projects that are large and complex in scope with multiple subcontractors and internal team members. + Provide strong technical leadership and mentorship for the team. + Set a common vision and enable technical team members to be successful. + Identify and set goals for team members' contributions to a project. + Recruit appropriate Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to contribute to the team. + Communicate with and align team behind scope of work to maximize outcomes for all stakeholders. + Manage and communicate project changes with the client and the project team. + Manage health and safety to achieve zero incidents + Perform quality assurance and control to ensure goals are met. + Provide technical assistance with proposal efforts, including technical approach, level of effort, and staffing requirements. + Ability to understand and articulate project scope and costs based upon RFP and/or contract is critical. + Proactively identify project issues and develop corrective action options. + Assure timely and accurate submittal of invoices. Monitoring and reporting of the status of accounts receivable and recommend appropriate action on overdue accounts. + Comply with Atlas purchasing and subcontracting requirements. + Procure additional follow-on work of varying types from clients/stakeholders. **Minimum requirements:** + Bachelor’s degree in petroleum, civil, mechanical, or environmental engineering; geology; or environmental-related degree from an accredited university. + Ten (10) or more years of senior project management experience, preferably for large contracts. + Five (5) or more years of experience in the field of oil well P&A, particularly in the Western U.S.. + Experience using geophysical and other remote sensing techniques to identify the location of orphan wells. + Experience with monitoring techniques and equipment to assess the presence and quantity of methane, hydrogen sulfide, and other gases. + Knowledge of state and Federal regulations relating to oil wells, and ability to interface with regulatory agencies. + Demonstrated ability to develop, negotiate, and lead regulatory processes and strategies. + Demonstrated ability to lead project teams with projects of advanced technical scope and complexity. + Ability to manage scope, schedule, and budget to maintain profitability of projects. **Other miscellaneous qualities:** + Location: Must be located in one of the following states: OH, KY, MI, IN, IL, WI, MN, IA, MO, ND, SD, NE, KS, OK, TX, MT, WY, CO, NM, ID, UT, AZ, NV, WA, OR, CA, AK, or HI. + A Professional Engineer (P.E.) license, Professional Geologist (P.G.), or other like registration is preferred. **Compensation:** $150k - $180k annual salary The expected salary range for the position is displayed in accordance with the state’s law.
