P&C People Partner SpecialistSummary of the role:
We are seeking a People & Culture People Parter Specialist to join our Americas People & Culture Team. This role will report into the VP, Assistant General Counsel and will be the local P&C contact for employees and managers. The role entails providing P&C services, managing employee lifecycle processes, and facilitating the implementation of P&C programs and policies.
In this role you’ll:
Provide personnel policy and procedure guidance to employees and management.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal and state employment law and compliance requirements.
Respond to People & Culture-related inquiries.
Administer new employee on-boarding and orientation.
Maintain talent management processes.
Monitor employee morale and company culture.
Collaborate with the People & Culture team to develop effective employee experience strategies.
Process complaints regarding sexual harassment, discrimination, or other instances of workplace harassment and assist in any necessary investigations and disciplinary actions.
Maintain employee personnel records.
Conduct exit interviews and recommend corrective action if necessary.
About the ideal candidate:
2-5 years human resources experience
Education: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration and/or equivalent work experience.
Demonstrated knowledge of the human resources field
Understanding of state and federal employment regulations
Understanding of personnel and compliance records management
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Experience with HRMS/HRIS systems
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook)
Must be able to work a hybrid schedule and work out of the office a minimum of three (3) days per week working a 9-5 schedule.
The position can be located in either Portsmouth or Miami.
