P&L Logistics Manager

Summary: Seeking a P&L Logistics Manager to oversee inventory and purchasing operations in the automotive supply chain with a focus on continuous improvement and efficient logistics processes.

Requirements:

In-depth knowledge of inventory management systems and procedures Experience in logistics planning using IT systems (e.g., SAP) Ability to manage up to 8-10 direct reports and 50-60 indirect reports

Preferred Skills:

Tier 1 automotive supplier experience Several years of experience in the automotive industry

Responsibilities:

Oversee inventory and purchasing operations related to supply chain processes Maintain budgets, analyze materials, and research vendors Ensure all departments have adequate access to required materials Plan, organize, and prioritize work according to production schedules Improve inventory levels continuously Create, implement, and audit Standard Operating Procedures for logistics operations Manage warehouse layout and material flow including packaging data Participate in safety, quality, productivity, and process improvement initiatives (e.g., 5S) Train and mentor team members in logistics systems and processes Maintain and monitor KPIs

Pay Details: $130,000.00 to $150,000.00 per year
