The hours of operations are Monday through Friday. Daytime hours are 9:00am-2:30pm and Nighttime hours are 2:00pm-7:30pm. Weekend hours are from 10:00am-6:30pm. Job Duties + Enforce the guidelines, policies, and procedures set by the Food Service Department + In charge of the sanitation of all dishes, glassware, catering equipment, pots/pans, small ware, and utensils to be cleaned + Responsible for the use of chemicals according to the MSDS and dish machine to ensure that proper procedures are being used and temperatures are being maintained for sanitation measures + Responsible for putting away of all dishes, glassware, catering equipment, pots/pans, small wares, and utensils in their proper location + Responsible for the cleaning and sanitation of all tables in the cafeteria + Responsible for the cleaning and sanitation of all carts on a daily basis + Responsible for garbage removal and cleaning of the garbage receptacles + Responsible for mopping and cleaning of all spills and debris on the floors of the Food Service department + Responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of all mobile carts in the food service department at all times + Responsible for the proper washing and sanitation of catering items to ensure no damage is occurring with these special items + Responsible for timely completion of any further cleaning tasks as assigned by FSM or Head Chef + Maintain a strong professional relationship with the Culinary Arts department + Attend industry-related conferences, workshops and seminars as appointed by the Food Service Manager + Immediately report and malfunctioning or broken equipment/small wares to FSM or Head Chef + Regular, prompt & reliable attendance Qualifications + High school diploma or GED + Enthusiastic and dedicated to the challenges of helping other people + Ability to function collaboratively as part of a fast-paced, customer oriented team + Professional in communications, appearance, relationships, and responsiveness + Positive attitude + Ability to pass background check Physical Demands + The employee frequently is required to stand for extended periods of time and use hands to operate the equipment + While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear + Heavy Work (lift 30-50lbs) + Very heavy work (lift over 50lbs) We offer paid time off, sick leave, and holidays for our part-time employees.
