As a Primavera P6 Scheduler, you'll manage integrated plant outage schedules, ensuring efficiency and timely completion. Using Primavera P6, you'll update schedules, conduct advanced reporting, and analyze performance to drive improvements. Collaboration with project teams and stakeholders is key as you communicate progress and facilitate smooth transitions. 

Responsibilities

ENERCON’s Energy Group (EG) provides engineering support to industrial facilities, traditional fossil and hydropower generation facilities, and alternative, renewable, and sustainable power generation facilities, such as solar or alternative fuels.  EG focuses on green energy solutions that achieve large-scale production with minimal environmental impacts.

 

Due to continued growth, our Energy, & Environmental Services Group is currently seeking a P6 Scheduler in Tatum, TX. This position is Onsite with our client, supporting an outage and is a 3-6 month contract role.   Must be flexible and open to working 12 hour shifts.

Utilize Primavera P6 to update, track and monitor integrated plant outage schedule(s).Modify schedule(s) as necessary to add/remove activities and/or modify activity logic or other details as needed.Take ownership of project schedule and perform advanced reporting and analyses that communicate and improve schedule performance, including but not limited to: variance analysis, critical and near-critical paths analysis, critical resource/skill gaps and overlaps analysis, KPI performance analysis, S-Progress & Curves, Actual vs. Baseline performance, etc.Retrieve, review and distribute pre-programmed scheduling reports from P6 along with back-up documentation. Develop and generate additional and custom reports using P6, Excel or other tools as needed.Ensure accurate reporting, variance explanations, and progress reporting against actual physical work. Verify status and progress of activities on site when needed.Keep project management advised of project progress, performance, and resource utilization with particular attention to delays, deviations, adverse trends, errors, and omissions.Interface and collaborate effectively with individuals and teams from various entities including project managers, project team members, engineers, client, contractors, and other project stakeholders. Collect all necessary inputs for accurate and complete schedule reporting using meetings, mark-ups, job walkdowns or other means as necessary.Effectively turn-over work to other P6 scheduler(s) at end of shift to ensure continuity and productivity. Qualifications 5+ years of relevant Primavera P6 experience in engineering, construction, utility power plant or industrial environment.Experience in the industrial or construction business environment and have worked on site during at least one plant outage or similar job.Experience working directly with engineers, construction contractors and suppliers.Professional P6 certification and/or Bachelor’s degree in applicable field preferred.Proficiency using Primavera P6 software for schedule development, maintenance and reporting.Comprehensive understanding of Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) principles and project coding structuresExperience with Microsoft Office Suite of programs including Outlook, Word and Excel.Strong organizational, communication & collaboration skills. Ability to work independently with a high level of attention to detail. Ability to work on shift on a construction site and travel to nearby ENERCON and/or client office, site or warehouse as needed. Understanding of construction and field work practices including site safety. Possess broad technical skills and effective communication skills. Able to plan, organize, prioritize, and schedule work in coordination with others to meet deadlines.
