Magee Women’s Hospital is looking for a full-time PA or CRNP to work within The Division of Gynecology Specialties. Gynecology Specialties provides care to a wide range of patients, including patients with a history of endometriosis, chronic gynecologic concerns, those seeking care with our fibroid treatment center, women seeking menopausal care in our Midlife Center, and those with recurrent or sudden pregnancy loss including pregnancy options counseling and support to those with recurrent or sudden pregnancy loss. The division is staffed by 11 attendings, 5 APPs, and is supported by several nurses, medical assistants, schedulers, and other supportive staff.
We are seeking an APP who will primarily work in the Midlife Health office, caring for women seeking menopausal care. The ideal candidate will work closely with our team of clinical staff, support staff and schedulers to assure we provide a comprehensive approach to care. The individual will need to have strong communication skills, enjoy collaborating with other members on the team, and have a passion for women’s health.
Hours: Monday-Friday, daylight hours. 4 10-hour shifts. No evenings, weekends, or on-call.
Location: 50% of time at Magee Women’s Hospital, up to 50 % may be required at satellite offices.
Position Specifics: 75% -100% outpatient clinic, up to 25% time in OR setting

The Staff or Senior Advanced Practice Provider (APP) is a Physician Assistant or Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner and a member of the care delivery team. The APP is responsible to set the standards for the level and quality of care. The APP has responsibility, authority, and accountability for the provision of care through supervision by and collaboration with a physician. The APP manages and provides patient care activities for a group of patients and their families through the application of independent judgment, communication, and collaboration with all team members. The role of the APP encompasses the beginnings of leadership, partnership, collaboration, and supervision. The APP establishes and maintains collaborative relationships with physicians, other health care providers, patients, and their families, to achieve desired patient outcomes throughout the continuum of care. The APP begins to demonstrate a commitment to the community and to their healthcare profession.
