May provide supervisory support and assistance to Management, as applicable.Provides evaluation and device management to patients under the supervision of a physicianEducates patients and families regarding device function, clinic follow-up scheduling and device home monitoring.Ensures correct billing and coding of device checks.Identifies opportunities for enhanced workflow in the clinics in collaboration with management.Assists with wound checks following implants.Assists the physician and other health care professionals in related technical areas as neededFunctions without supervision and, may coordinate others, as applicable.Required Education:
HS Diploma or GEDRequired Licensure and Experience (1 of the following):
Cardiology Arrhythmia Certification and 3 years of healthcare or 1 year of Cardiology or Cardiology Arrhythmia Certification and graduation from an approved technical school specializing in implanted devices and/or arrhythmia orRN license and 5 years of implanted cardiac device experiencePreferred Experience:
Working with programmers from major device companies and utilizing remote monitoring sites from major device companiesPreferred Certifications:
