Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Package Designer in the Drink & Beverages industry, located in Shakopee, Minnesota. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for creating and updating packaging designs for coffee products, including bags, boxes, and jars. Responsibilities: • Develop detailed packaging designs translating conceptual ideas, while considering printer specifications and general consumer packaged goods (CPG) packaging labeling requirements. • Manage the overall packaging updates for a wide range of products, ensuring consistency and brand integrity. • Utilize graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe InDesign to create compelling packaging designs. • Apply your knowledge of printing processes, materials, and manufacturing techniques relevant to packaging production to optimize designs. • Ensure all designs adhere to branding principles and effectively communicate to the consumer. • Conduct thorough proofreading of text and artwork before final production to prevent errors. • Exhibit excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines and maintain workflow. Requirements • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign. • Demonstrated experience in Graphic Design, particularly in the Drinks & Beverages industry. • Strong knowledge and understanding of Brand Awareness strategies. • Previous experience in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) is highly desirable. • Expertise in Packaging Design, with a focus on innovative and engaging designs. • Excellent proofreading skills to ensure accuracy and consistency in all designs. • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as independently. • A portfolio showcasing previous work in package design, particularly within the Drinks & Beverages industry.
