**Job Title: Packager** **Job Description** We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Packagers for our busy manufacturing facility. We have multiple openings for 2nd shift and potentially 1st shift. The role involves working directly with operators, handling materials as they come off the production line, cutting wood, and preparing items for shipping. This position requires physical stamina and precision. **Responsibilities** + Lift up to 50 lbs regularly. + Work closely with operators in the catching department. + Catch pieces as they come off the line and place them aside or into boxes. + Cut wood using a saw, utilizing a tape measure. + Wrap drywall studs of varying sizes (6 ft, 8 ft, 12 ft). + Stack and wrap items on pallets for shipping. + Perform repetitive tasks efficiently. + Manage material on the roller/conveyor, ensuring smooth movement and proper packing. + Receive training to accurately cut wood to specific sizes. + Read and interpret order sheets and paperwork. + Operate a table saw to cut wood parts. + Remain on feet for the entire shift. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in reading a tape measure. + Experience working in an industrial manufacturing environment. + Ability to lift 50 lbs. + Use of metatarsal boots. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience using a table saw is a plus. + Must purchase a white hard hat prior to the first day. + Must be open to mandatory overtime. **Why Work Here?** We offer excellent benefits including medical, dental, vision, and a 401k plan.
