**Job Title: Packager $18+** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Packager for the 2nd shift, from 10am-6pm, Monday to Friday. You will be working in an industrial environment, with a focus on packaging steel plates and sheets to customer specifications. This role involves physical labor, operating machinery, and working as part of a team. **Responsibilities** + Work in an industrial environment on your feet for the entire shift + Package steel by banding large plates to customer specifications + Learn and follow customer requirements for each order, including skidded wood runners, banding, and waterproof paper + Collaborate with another packager to complete tasks + Package 50-100 bundles of steel plates/sheets per day, each weighing 2,000-5,000 lbs + Use plastic banding for 99% of packaging tasks + Read work instructions and follow guidance from the team lead + Operate a stacker machine, load coils, and make skids + Use hand tools, nail guns, and staplers + Operate an overhead crane and tow motor **Essential Skills** + Experience in packaging and steel manufacturing + Ability to operate a forklift + Ability to lift 50 lbs + Experience working in a fast-paced environment + Experience using hand tools **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience working in a steel manufacturing environment + Experience operating an overhead crane + Experience in packaging steel + Forklift experience **Why Work Here?** This company has never had a layoff and offers solid benefits including Blue Cross Blue Shield, a 401k with a 6% match up to 4%, and yearly raises.
