Job Title: 1st Shift Packager

Job Description

This position is an entry-level role in the plastic extrusion department, providing assembly and packaging support for the extrusion operators. You will be responsible for assembling housing for cartridges using small hand tools, labeling cartridges, and packaging. The plastic is extruded and rolled onto spools, similar to spools of wire or yarn, but 1 or 2 square feet in size. These spools are then taken off the machine, placed into plastic, and loaded into cartridges. This is a fast-paced work environment.

ResponsibilitiesProvide assembly and packaging support for extrusion operators.Assemble housing for cartridges using small hand tools.Label cartridges and package them.Handle spools of extruded plastic, placing them into plastic and loading into cartridges.Essential SkillsAt least 6+ months of packaging or warehouse experience.Experience in a fast-paced warehouse (pick and pack environment) or assembly experience.Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.Additional Skills & QualificationsPlastics experience is a huge plus, but not necessary.Why Work Here?

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00
