**Now Hiring Full Time Packagers Near Hopkins** **$18/HR - IMMEDIATE START -** **NO Interview** **Job Description** In this position, you will be working directly with 2-5 others on one machine to efficiently package the finished materials as they are coming out of the machine. These machines are Roll Forming machines, and the main products they produce are metal shingles, siding, and gutters. Each machine will be operated by one Machine Operator II. Depending on which machine/product, you can expect to be working with 2-5 other Packagers (Machine Operator I). Each product is visually quality checked to ensure no manufacturing defects are present. **1st shift** 7am - 3:30pm M-F. **Responsibilities** + Work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with 2-5 others on one machine. + Make boxes, package, palletize, and move products efficiently. + Utilize power tools such as drills, staple guns, and other pneumatic tools. + Learn to operate several machines and work with different groups daily. + Perform visual quality checks to ensure no manufacturing defects. **Qualifications** + 6+ months in a manufacturing/production environment. + Mechanically inclined. + Hand and power tool experience. + Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide inches and pounds using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. + Ability to read and understand tape measures and calculators. + Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions. + Ability to measure parts as part of quality checks. + Bilingual (Spanish and English) is a plus **Why Work Here?** Eligible for up to 15% 401k match based on company performance (5% automatic match, up to 10% additional match with profit sharing based on company performance). Machines are running, so it can be loud. Must be comfortable lifting 50-75 lbs occasionally. Exposed to moving mechanical parts, chemicals, and heat (proper PPE and safety training will be provided). Noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Not temperature controlled - doors open in Summer and can get warm.
