JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Support and/or lead the design, development, and implementation of new sterile disposable packaging designs utilized in radiology and cardiovascular medical procedures.
* Use CAE tools (CAD, FEA, Moldflow, CFD) to develop and analyze packaging designs.
* Conduct or direct testing in a R&D lab environment to verify concept packaging designs.
* Create and modify SD packaging designs using CAD software such as Pro Engineer and CREO. CAD models may be 3D printed

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* B.S and 2+ years of proven experience in Mechanical, Packaging Engineering or related field. M.S degree preferred.
* 0 - 3 years of industry experience directly pertaining to packaging / mechanical / plastic engineering roles.
* Familiarity with disposable product usage, and engineering design to influence packaging
* Engineering experience in new product development or product engineering, production engineering or manufacturing engineering
