Packaging Engineer

Responsible for designing, validating, and supporting packaging systems for medical devices, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Job Requirements:

BS in Engineering or related field

5+ years of experience in packaging engineering, specifically in medical device industry

Experience with ISO 11607 standards

Project management skills and experience

Preferred Skills:

Proficiency in creating and managing packaging specifications

Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)

Experience in resin material qualifications and validation testing

Job Responsibilities:

Provide technical support and training to manufacturing teams regarding packaging systems and machinery

Prepare packaging validation protocols and reports for packaging changes

Perform validation testing and lead material qualifications for packaging updates

Create and update packaging specifications for manufacturing processes

Assist in artwork creation and revisions for product packaging

Operate various testing equipment for qualifying packaging changes

Design and develop packaging solutions considering protection, display, and handling requirements for medical devices

Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards, including GMPs

Support prototype line development and collaborate with cross-functional teams on packaging-related projects

Additional Information:

Hybrid role, requiring 3-4 days on-site per week

Interviews to begin the first week of October

Pay: 40-54

Pay Details: $40.00 to $54.00 per hour
