Packaging Engineer
Job Title: Packaging Engineer Job Description This contract role involves designing bins to facilitate the transfer of parts from one location within the plant to another. The position focuses on creating efficient and effective packaging solutions to streamline internal logistics. Responsibilities + Design bins for part transfer within the plant. + Utilize SolidWorks and AutoCAD for packaging design. + Measure and assess requirements on the manufacturing floor. + Collaborate with other engineers and manufacturing personnel to ensure practical and efficient designs. Essential Skills + Proficiency in Packaging Engineering. + Expertise in SolidWorks and AutoCAD. + Experience with packaging design. + Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering. + Minimum of 5 years of designing experience with SolidWorks and AutoCAD. + At least 5 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment with the ability to take measurements. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Strong problem-solving abilities. + Excellent communication and teamwork skills. + Attention to detail and precision in design. Work Environment This contract position is located in Eagle, WI and is expected to last approximately 4 months, with the possibility of extension. The role involves working in a manufacturing environment, requiring on-floor presence to take measurements and collaborate with other team members.
