Job Title: Packaging and Labeling Engineer
Description:
As a Packaging and Labeling Engineer, you will support the execution and implementation of the EU MDR on SNV products. You will design and develop best-in-class packaging and labeling solutions from early concept through commercialization for both sterile and non-sterile medical devices.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Support the EU MDR execution and implementation on SNV products.
+ Design and develop packaging and labeling solutions from early concept through commercialization.
+ Drive continuous improvement and assessment of current procedures based on Voice of the Customer input and identify best practices.
+ Develop packaging and labeling components that improve the customer experience, working with drafters to develop 3D models and artwork.
+ Demonstrate development life cycle knowledge through the delivery of high-quality deliverables.
+ Collaborate with quality, manufacturing, regulatory, clinical, marketing, R&D device designers, supply chain, vendors, and kitting centers across geographies to ensure project success.
+ Build quality into all aspects of product development and support by maintaining compliance with all quality requirements.
+ Lead improvements and develop solutions that facilitate compliance with complex and evolving regulatory requirements worldwide.
+ Support audits, non-conformances, and CAPAs as needed.
+ Lead small-scale packaging/labeling projects or co-manage large-scale programs to drive changes across the portfolio.
Required Skills:
+ Packaging
+ Packaging engineering
Additional Skills:
+ BS Degree in Packaging Engineering preferred; biomedical or mechanical degree with packaging experience also acceptable.
+ 3+ years of packaging engineering experience, preferably in medical devices.
Experience Level:
+ Intermediate Level
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $68.00/hr.
