Packaging Engineer
As the Packaging Engineer, you will support packaging projects with cross functional teams that include R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Marketing, and Operations. The role will prioritize workload based on business needs and balance workload to ensure timely launches and business continuation within a cross-functional team framework. **Your Role:** + Assist in the design, testing, troubleshooting, spec creation and validation of medical device packaging to ensure product integrity and safety throughout the supply chain + Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, manufacturing, and regulatory, to ensure packaging meets all regulatory and quality requirements (FDA, ISO, etc.) + Strong desire to stay current with industry trends, materials, and technologies to recommend improvements to packaging solutions **You’re the right fit if:** + Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field + Strong interest in medical device packaging and product development with the ability to work effectively in a team environment + Basic understanding of packaging design principles and material science + You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position. + Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills **How we work together:** We believe that we are better together than apart. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity. In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.
