Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Packaging Engineer with extensive experience in the medical device industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong experience in packaging engineering, excellent problem-solving abilities, and proficiency in packaging design software. This role involves ensuring compliance with UDI regulations and managing product configurations.
ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop packaging solutions for medical devices.Ensure compliance with UDI regulations and direct marking requirements.Manage product configuration and labeling processes.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure packaging meets quality and regulatory standards.Utilize packaging design software and tools to create efficient and effective packaging solutions.Troubleshoot and resolve packaging-related issues.Maintain accurate documentation and records of packaging designs and processes.Essential SkillsBachelor’s degree in Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.Minimum of 7 years of experience in packaging engineering within the medical device industry.Strong knowledge of UDI compliance and direct marking requirements.Experience with product configuration management.Proficiency in packaging design software and tools.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and teamwork abilities.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in labeling software.Advanced degrees or certifications in related fields.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $70.00/hr.
