Job Title: Packaging EngineerJob Description We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineering Components Development Specialist with expertise in CATIA CAD and a willingness to use Creo. Responsibilities + Design and develop electrical engineering (EE) components through packaging and installation design activities. + Review and approve technical solutions, ensuring alignment with EE strategies. + Secure the interests of electrical packaging and installation for all ongoing and potential future projects. + Take operational responsibility in day-to-day work within established processes and procedures. + Make decisions on significant adjustments and propose new technical solutions. + Apply advanced knowledge typically obtained through education and work experience. + Support junior team members and peers by sharing knowledge and acting as a role model for lifelong learning. + Develop influence and work confidently within the wider organizational network. + Clearly articulate how you are creating value within your part of the Technical Development/Business Area (TD/BA). Essential Skills + Proficiency in CATIA CAD and willingness to use Creo. + Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering components development. + Strong decision-making skills and the ability to propose innovative technical solutions. + Experience in mentoring and developing junior team members. + Ability to work effectively within a large organizational network. + Automotive/Truck/Heavy equipment experience. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in packaging, packaging engineering, and packaging design. + Knowledge of wire harness design, routing, wiring, and clipping. + Mechanical design experience. Work Environment Work in the technical center at the Greensboro headquarters. The environment consists of open desks and lobbies. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $43.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
