Packaging Maintenance Mechanic
Looking for an experienced **Packaging Maintenance Mechanic** for a full time permanent position **!** **Location: Belle Mead, NJ (Hillsborough)** **Pay Rate: $36.00-$45.00 per hour** **Excellent Benefits- 4 weeks of vacation/5 sick days/13 holidays** **Tool Allowance, Clothes allowance (once/twice a year) Steel toed shoe reimbursement** Available Shifts: Monday to Friday 2nd shift (3:15pm- 11:30pm) 3rd shift(11:15pm-7:30am) Provide multi-craft (mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic) support to assigned packaging line team including operating, servicing, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs needed to deliver world class results in the key areas of Safety, Quality, Customer Service, Cost and Teamwork. + Participates in developing and assisting in communicating short-range and medium-range maintenance plans for packaging lines. + Monitor equipment uptime and maintenance response time and initiate improvement plans when necessary. + Ensure compliance with established standards and procedures (e.g., safety, quality, sanitation, good manufacturing policies, lean manufacturing, and other plant programs). + Determine root cause of equipment failure and implement improvement plans. **What we're looking for:** + **Minimum 5 years relevant work experience in a team-based manufacturing environment; on high speed packaging equipment** + Associates and/or Bachelor’s degree in the mechanical and/or manufacturing disciplines preferred + Must be knowledgeable of preventative maintenance techniques and have the ability to develop and work PM crew to improve preventive maintenance programs from vendor manuals + Strong mechanical maintenance or reliability maintenance background is desired Welding and Machining is a plus. **Click Apply Now** to be considered!
